Take a large, oven-safe baking dish and pour in the olive oil. Use a brush or your hands to spread it evenly across the bottom of the dish to prevent sticking.
Generously season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, dried basil, and dried oregano. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the baking dish, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
Evenly scatter the halved cherry tomatoes around the chicken in the dish.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic with half of the balsamic glaze, stirring well to combine. Pour this mixture evenly over the chicken breasts and tomatoes.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes.
After 25 minutes, carefully remove the dish from the oven. Top each chicken breast with slices of fresh mozzarella cheese.
Return the dish to the oven and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the cheese is melted.
Just before serving, drizzle the remaining balsamic glaze over the entire dish.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves scattered on top.
