In a large mixing bowl, add the rolled oats, ground almonds, chia seeds, and a pinch of sea salt. Stir these dry ingredients together until well mixed.
In a separate smaller bowl, combine the almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Mix these ingredients until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
Pour the smooth almond butter mixture into the bowl containing the dry ingredients. Add the dried blueberries. Stir the mixture thoroughly until all ingredients are fully combined.
With slightly damp hands, take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls approximately 1 inch in diameter. If desired, roll the formed balls in shredded coconut.
Line a baking sheet or plate with parchment paper and carefully place the rolled energy balls on it, leaving a small space between each ball.
Transfer the energy balls to the refrigerator and chill for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

For an extra layer of flavor and texture, roll the balls in shredded coconut.
