1teaspoongarlic powder
to tasteSalt and freshly ground black pepper
0.25teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes (optional for a spicy kick)
0.5cupdiced green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s ready for baking.
In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Using an electric mixer or whisk, blend these ingredients together until the mixture is smooth and creamy without any lumps.
Next, fold in the finely chopped spinach, minced garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, and, if desired, the crushed red pepper flakes for heat. Mix gently until thoroughly combined.
Incorporate the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese into the mixture, folding them in until fully blended. Taste the mixture and season it with salt and freshly ground black pepper according to your preference.
Transfer the dip mixture into a suitably sized baking dish, spreading it out evenly to ensure uniform cooking.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the top has achieved a delightful golden color.
Carefully remove the dip from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving. Just before serving, garnish with the diced green onions for a pop of color and crunch.
Serve your warm Cheesy Baked Spinach Dip with an assortment of tortilla chips, slices of crusty baguette, or fresh vegetable sticks for dipping.
Notes
For an appealing touch, consider serving the dip in the baking dish itself, and provide a colorful array of dippers arranged artfully around it.
