Instructions
Begin by preheating your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for approximately 5 minutes, ensuring it reaches the right temperature for optimal crispiness.
Take each potato and slice it in half lengthwise. Then, cut each half into wedges to create thick triangular shapes, ensuring uniformity for even cooking.
In a large mixing bowl, add the potato wedges and drizzle over the olive oil. Toss gently but thoroughly until each wedge is coated evenly with oil.
Next, sprinkle the garlic powder, paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper over the oiled wedges. Toss again, ensuring that all the spices are well distributed and each wedge is coated in flavor.
Arrange the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer within the air fryer basket, allowing space between each piece for optimal airflow. Depending on your air fryer's capacity, you may need to cook them in batches.
Air fry the potato wedges for 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking process to promote even browning. Cook until the wedges are golden brown and crispy to your preference.
Once cooked, carefully remove the wedges from the air fryer and let them cool for a few moments. For a fresh touch, garnish with finely chopped parsley before serving.
